The fourth Sunday of the Easter season is sometimes referred to as Good Shepherd Sunday. This is because the Gospel Reading for the day (John 10) refers to Jesus as the Good Shepherd. So, appropriately, the anthem sung at our morning service was a setting of Psalm 23, "The Lord is my Shepherd" by Howard Goodall. The music was arranged by the composer from the signature tune he wrote for the BBC TV series "The Vicar of Dibley".
